Introduction
Parents and families are very important to us at East Ward Community Primary School. We maintain an ‘open door’ policy where parents are welcomed into school and where we are continually looking for ways to develop stronger and more positive links.
Sharing special events, times and activities with parents and encouraging you to join us as often as possible to share special moments in your child’s learning is a key feature of our school. Each term we hold an ‘Open lesson’ where our parents are invited into school to work alongside their children. All classes produce their own ‘Show case’ assembly to show parents and friends their work.
If you have any further suggestions of how this link could be strengthened even further then please do not hesitate to let us know and we will endeavour to action your ideas.
Parents can now access further statistical information regarding attainment and performance, and compare the outcomes with other schools in the Authority. Such information can help inform your decision as to the best academic path for your child. The link below will take you to the 'Performance Tables' section of the Department for Education where you may review the information currently available for East Ward Community Primary School in more detail.
